The Dental Implant Procedure

The procedure is performed in our office under local anesthesia. A small incision is made in the gum to expose the jawbone, where the titanium implant is placed. This process typically takes about an hour.

Healing Period

Abutment Placement

Once healed, an abutment (connector) is placed on the implant to hold the crown, bridge, or overdenture. This may require a minor surgical procedure.

Restoration

A custom crown, bridge, or overdenture is created and attached to the abutment, completing the restoration. Additionally, we can restore implants placed in other offices, ensuring a seamless fit and function.
